Innes out for Albion
Bottom-club Albion Rovers will be without Peter Innes for the visit of promotion-chasing Alloa after the midfielder was sent off against Forfar in midweek.
On-loan Partick goalkeeper Ryan Scully is in line for a recall after missing the Coatbridge side's last two games dues to a head knock.
However, Mick O'Byrne remains out with an ankle injury, Tony Stevenson is absent with a knee problem and hamstring strains keep Chris Boyle and David Crawford out of the game.
Manager Todd Lumsden said: "We are having a bad run at the moment but I believe we are pretty close to coming out of it.
"If we can keep our positional discipline slightly better than we are doing and stick to our passing style of play we can get winning again."
Alloa will look to secure their third win of the season over Albion without defender Jason Marr who misses the second game in a row due to an ankle injury.
Skipper Darren Young is also absent due to a calf problem, with manager Paul Hartley predicting a tough game despite their hosts' lowly position.
Hartley said: "They will be battling for everything and although they got beat when I watched them at Forfar in midweek they were just a couple of breaks away from taking something from the game.
"We are going there on a high following our last-minute win over Arbroath on Wednesday and I'm looking forward to seeing Calum Elliot in action again as he looked like a top-quality signing at Gayfield."
