Rovers without Walker
Albion Rovers striker Pat Walker misses out against Elgin at Cliftonhill.
Walker has an ankle injury and he is joined on the sidelines by Peter Innes who continues to recover from injuries he sustained in a car accident.
Coatbridge boss James Ward said: "Elgin are the form team at the moment with 10 goals in their last four games and an undefeated run of six games.
"That is a consistency level no side apart from East Stirling have found, however if we beat them we go above them.
"That is a great incentive and it would also be nice to win to end a disappointing run of home results."
Elgin include David Niven in their squad after the skipper shook off the illness that saw him substituted in last Saturday's comeback success over Berwick Rangers.
Ross McKinnon remains out due to his fractured cheekbone with Mark Nicolson's groin problem and Paul Millar's knee injury keeping them absent.
Borough Briggs boss Ross Jack said: "We were two goals down but came back to win 3-2 at Shielfield and we jumped up from eighth place to second in the table. That shows you how quickly things change in League Two.
"Having gone six games without a defeat we want to keep that going, although we realise that Albion Rovers is a tricky venue."
