Albion will look to striker Mark McGuigan to see off visitors Stranraer should a loan deal from Partick be completed in time.
The Coatbridge men will be without the suspended Jamie Gilmartin with centre-backs Michael O'Byrne and Kevin Green ruled out with knee and stomach injuries respectively, while Barry Russell is a doubt after illness.
Manager Todd Lumsden will send his men out to make amends for a 3-0 defeat in their only home match so far this season against Alloa.
Lumsden said: "We have only played in front of our fans once and it was a poor, poor performance.
"Hopefully we can build on our win at East Fife and show our supporters a lot more this time out."
Stranraer are out to avenge defeat to their opponents in last season's promotion play-offs and will be boosted by the return of defender Frank McKeown.
The Blues, who were eventually promoted to the Irn-Bru Second Division following Rangers' admittance to the third tier, welcome McKeown back from a calf injury, but are without centre-back David McGregor (knee) and striker Michael Moore (Achilles).
Stair Park boss Keith Knox said: "There was nothing between the sides at the end of last season and it took penalties to separate us, so we can go there looking for a win.
"Our players did really well to beat Ayr in our last game and a repeat of that would be fantastic."
