Peterhead squander two-goal lead in Albion draw
Lowly Peterhead squandered a two-goal lead against Albion in Scottish League One, but still earned their first point of the new campaign from a 2-2 draw at Balmoor.It was not until five minutes before half-time, but the hosts went 1-0 up thanks to a stunning free-kick from Ryan Baptiste, and he almost made it two in similar circumstances moments later.It looked rosy for Peterhead on the hour mark, when Rory McAllister finished well into the bottom corner from inside the box, seemingly cementing their dominance.But it did not last long, as Albion pulled a goal back just three minutes later thanks to Ross Stewart, who rifled the ball home
And they completed the comeback when the unfortunate Scott Ross put through his own net after 74 minutes
