Brechin march on
Brechin came from a goal down to extend their unbeaten run to six games with a 2-1 victory at Cliftonhill Stadium.
Albion, searching for their first win since mid-October, took the lead on the half-hour mark when Phillips fired home his second goal of the season from the centre of the penalty area from David Crawford' cross to give the struggling home side the lead.
And he came very close to his second of the evening nine minutes later but his 20-yard effort rattled the post.
But just 78 seconds into the second half Brechin drew level when the division's top goalscorer Andrew Jackson headed home a ball from Paul McLean.
After 71 minutes the comeback was complete when Derek Carcary`s right-footed effort earned his side the three points.
