Home comfort for Albion
Albion Rovers claimed just their second home win of the season as they beat high-flying Annan 2-0.
An own goal from Peter Watson and Mark Shankland's first goal of the season gave Albion the win against an Athletic side who missed the chance to go top of the table.
After an even first half in which both sides hit the woodwork, it was Albion who went ahead after Watson inadvertently sent a header into his own goal.
Annan had been unlucky not to be in the lead after hitting the post and the crossbar through Alistair Love and Andrew Mitchell.
Shankland also hit the bar, before his smart finish from inside the area sealed the victory to take Albion up to sixth in the table.
