Phillips on song in Albion win
Albion midfielder Gary Phillips scored twice as Rovers eased to a 3-0 victory over Clyde.
Phillips sent Albion on their way to back-to-back wins after seven minutes with a spectacular volley from an Alan Reid centre.
Pat Walker doubled the home side's lead 10 minutes later when he volleyed past Clyde goalkeeper Jamie Barclay.
Phillips completed his brace and ended the match as a contest in the 37th minute when he got on the end of a well-worked corner.
Clyde, who got their season up and running with a 1-0 win on the opening day, improved in the second half and hit the woodwork twice. However, they were unable to breach the Albion defence and suffered their first League Two defeat.
