Albion Rovers scored a sensational last-minute equaliser through Joe Savage to bring high-flying Queens Park back to earth at Cliftonhill and gain a deserved share of the points.
Rovers' star midfielder Scott Chaplain is a player very much in form and was involved in every attack the home side put together in the first half.
The Wee Rovers should have taken the lead in the 22nd minute thanks to some excellent work on the right wing by Bryan Felvus. The former Spiders' striker crossed to the near post for Chaplain, but the midfielder could only hit the side netting from two yards.
Five minutes later and Chaplain was once again in the thick of things. The youngster cleverly disguised his pass to Savage, drawing the Queens defence to him, and allowing the striker a clean shot on goal from 20 yards which curled narrowly wide.
It took until the 41st minute before the Spiders launched their first serious attempt on goal. Alan Trouten picked up a loose ball in
midfield before trying his luck from 20 yards.
Queens took the lead in fortunate circumstances in the 54th minute when David Weatherston attemped a looping cross from the left that spiralled over Jamie Ewings and nestled in the back of the net.

The Wee Rovers began to exert pressure on the Glasgow side but could not find a breakthrough until the last minute. Phil Creaney played a one-two with Andy Sim from a corner before driving his cross to the back post for Savage to rise and head the equaliser.
