Promotion hopefuls Albion left it late to claim a point as James Gilmartin`s close-range finish snatched a 2-2 draw at Berwick.

Rob Love gave Albion the perfect start, turning the ball home from close range after just five minutes.

Berwick equalised in the 41st minute, Alan Brazil showing superb technique to guide a low volley into the bottom corner from the edge of the penalty area.

Rangers went in front after the break when Aaron Ponton's stunning left-foot strike nestled in the far corner from 20 yards in the 49th minute.

Love could have extended the hosts' lead but was denied when his point-blank header from a corner was saved by Thomas Flynn.

Love was made to pay for his profligacy as substitute James Gilmartin forced home from six yards to rescue a point for the visitors in the 88th minute.
