Albion kept their slim chances of automatic promotion alive with a tough 2-1 win at East Stirling.
The visitors dominated a goalless first half but a shot from Robert Love from 25 yards was saved by goalkeeper Michael Andrews, who then kept out a header by John Gemmell.
But they finally broke the deadlock in the 55th minute when Steven Lawless fired home after Love`s 18-yard effort had hit the crossbar.
Rovers doubled their advantage seven minutes later in stunning fashion, Michael McGowan seeing his 20-yard drive fly into the top corner.
But East Stirling cut the deficit three minutes later as Darren Kelly drilled his effort into the bottom corner from just outside the penalty area.
